Stories of Recovery

Voices of Transformation

These are the words of the men who walked through our doors โ€” and rebuilt their lives on the other side.

"For years I tried on my own โ€” rehab, cold turkey, relapse, guilt, repeat. Midway was the first time I felt truly understood and supported. The counselors helped me face trauma I'd buried for decades. Now I volunteer, reconnect with my family, and live a life I'm proud of."

A New Chapter: Edward's Story

"My substance use cost me everything โ€” finances, trust, health. Midway gave me more than sobriety: they gave me a chance to heal mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The structured program helped me face the deepest parts of myself. Today I'm building a new life rooted in integrity."

R. Mitchell
A New Chapter: Robert's Story

"I came to Midway feeling hopeless and ashamed. They showed me recovery is so much more โ€” about relearning trust, self-worth, and purpose. The life skills training and structured environment gave me tools I still use every single day. I wake up now with purpose, not pain."

A New Chapter: Damon's Story

"When I first arrived, I couldn't hold a conversation without guilt or fear of judgment. Midway showed me respect, empathy, and consistency. Through therapy, group work, and daily structure, I found my voice again. I'm working, my family trusts me, and I feel grounded in who I am."

Outpatient & Community

Recovery Beyond Our Walls

Not everyone needs residential care โ€” and recovery doesn't end at graduation. Our outpatient services and community programming keep clients connected to support, structure, and each other as they build independent lives in Griffin and Spalding County.

For New Clients

If residential treatment isn't the right fit right now, outpatient services offer structured counseling and community support while you maintain your daily life.

For Graduates

Completing a residential program is a milestone, not a finish line. Our outpatient space provides ongoing counseling and peer connection to help graduates thrive.

Family Education & Support

Addiction affects the whole family โ€” not just the person in recovery. Our new facility offers dedicated family education and support programming, because the people who love someone in recovery need guidance, healing, and community too.

For the Community

Our community event space is available for recovery meetings, partner organizations, and Spalding County programming โ€” bringing healing resources closer to home.
