Midway Recovery Systems is a nonprofit serving individuals and families in Griffin, Georgia. We provide residential recovery, outpatient services, and are developing the Midway Mom Project to expand support for women and children — because recovery works best when people have the right options available.

Midway Mom Project
Coming SoonWe're developing a safe, nurturing residential community in Griffin, GA — where women in recovery and their children will live and grow together, surrounded by expert care and compassionate peer support.
Weekly parenting classes, supervised visitation when needed, and compassionate coordination with DFCS and family court — always centered on family reunification.
School-aged children will be enrolled in the Griffin-Spalding County School System within 7 days of arrival. Childhood development doesn't pause for recovery — and neither will we.
Peer support staff will include mothers who have walked this road — offering mentorship, trust, and a living example that recovery and motherhood go hand in hand.
The Midway Mom Project will be Griffin's first residential recovery program designed for pregnant and postpartum women. Mothers and their children will live on campus together for up to 12 months, with wraparound clinical, prenatal, parenting, and life-skills support.

Outpatient & Community
Not everyone needs residential care — and recovery doesn't end at graduation. Our outpatient services and community programming keep clients connected to support, structure, and each other as they build independent lives in Griffin and Spalding County.
If residential treatment isn't the right fit right now, outpatient services offer structured counseling and community support while you maintain your daily life.
Completing a residential program is a milestone, not a finish line. Our outpatient space provides ongoing counseling and peer connection to help graduates thrive.
Substance use affects the whole family — not just the person in recovery. Our new facility offers dedicated family education and support programming, because the people who love someone in recovery need guidance, healing, and community too.
Our community space supports Midway programming, family education, recovery-focused activities, and opportunities to connect residents and families with helpful community resources.

We begin with a brief pre-screen to learn more about your needs and determine whether Midway may be a good fit. If it looks like we may be a good match for each other, you will be invited for an in-person interview so we can meet, answer questions, and talk through the program together. A current TB and RPR screening is required before admission.
We'll walk you through what to bring and what to expect — so your first day feels like a fresh start, not a hard start.
